You really got it right with America&#39;s over-protection problem, well at least concerning lots of parents and public events personnel! Really annoys me, and like you I cannot see the logic in it. I figured you were going to write that the slip n slide was shut down after &quot;Nancy&#39;s&quot; fall! I&#39;m all for safety and being smart about things, but there def is a line between safe &amp; and semi-paranoia safe, and in the US there is WAY to much of the latter! Ah, well I have more I could say about this topic, but I&#39;ll let it rest...for now anyway. <br /><br />In other news, your words of appreciate for America were fun to read. It was interesting to hear your new perspective about the US after having been away and without for so long. <br /><br />I still prefer Western European life much more -maybe because it isn&#39;t all that different, but at the same time it is!.
